Hainan Island Environmentalist
The LA Times printed a story about Hainan Island Province in China today: Chinese Tree Savior Put Himself Out on a Limb. The story about Xing Yiqian, whose "cash-for-trees strategy has earned him cult status" on Hainan Island. He's struggling to save Hainan Island's environment, but he's broke. He needs donations. But most of all, he needs people to stay at his resort. When I find out what that resort is, I'll tell everyone.
