Supak Blogs for Business Blogs

I"m telling all my search engine optimization and web site marketing clinets that they should start blogging. Since content is, and always has been, king on the internet and the search engines, I have always advised my clients to create more of it. Thanks to blogs, that's a lot easier now.

I have been creating content for my clients for years by providing detailed descriptions of their web sites in the links I create to them. While I'm going to continue doing that, they can start doing it for themselves through their business blogs. At the same time, the business blogs will offer more content to their customers and the search engines to enjoy and reward them for. And, their business blogs will provide ideas for me to use when creating more links to them. Plus, their blog, while hosted through an established blogging service, will be a site about their business that links to their business. The symbiosis of having the business site and the blog site linking to each other can only serve to help on the search engines and in sales.

Free wallpaper pictures of Big Bear Southern California Ski Slopes

My stagehand friend, Vince Pittman, has a Big Bear rental cabin that he lets us use. It's walking distance to Bear Mountain ski resort, in Big Bear, California. My wife Robin, who can ski circles around me, literally, went to the top of Bear Mountain to take these incredible wallpaper pictures of Big Bear Lake and the surrounding snow-covered mountains. We have all kinds of free backgrounds and computer wallpaper, so check it out!

Folksonomies

A folksonomy is the collaborative categorization of user-generated content using simple tags. Or, in the case of flickr.com, they are a bunch of tags associated with photographs, which makes for a cool way to categorize pictures, in this case. So, when I heard about something new that categorizes pictures, I immediately uploaded some Hawaii pictures to my new flickr account. Pretty cool. The tags make it easy to search the huge amount of pictures they have there. I'll be adding as many as they'll let me.

Bush Osama Bin Forgotten quotes, a study in contrasts:

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." — 9/13/01

"I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'" —9/17/01

"...Secondly, he is not escaping us. This is a guy, who, three months ago, was in control of a county [sic]. Now he's maybe in control of a cave. He's on the run. Listen, a while ago I said to the American people, our objective is more than bin Laden. But one of the things for certain is we're going to get him running and keep him running, and bring him to justice. And that's what's happening. He's on the run, if he's running at all. So we don't know whether he's in cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open -- we just don't know...."—Crawford TX, 12/28/01

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."—3/13/02

"I am truly not that concerned about him."—3/13/02

"I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him."—3/13/02

"Uhh—Gosh, I —don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those, uhh, exaggerations." — Tempe, AZ, 10/13/2004

I just added these to my big collection of Bush quotes here.

Excellent Simpsons Site

Major Simpsons Update

I just spent most of the day updating our Simpsons sounds and Simpsons wallpaper web site. I saw it's been getting a lot more hits lately, so I figured it was long over-due for an update. It's a lot cleaner and easier to navigate now, and I pretty much doubled the number of Simpsons sound bites!

Plus, there are new Simpsons pictures, and new Simpsons stuff to buy, like Simpsons T-shirts, Simpsons posters, and Simpsons DVDs!

Next time I do a major update for the Simpsons, maybe I'll get Jasmine to make some Simpsons wallpaper.

Car Wallpaper Car Pictures

My son Spencer is so proud of his American muscle car pictures, that he had me build a car wallpaper site for him, so he could share them with his friends. Of course, while you're there, you could help out his college fund and buy a few car posters, click on a few google ads, and then download some cool car pictures!
